In times past we lived simple lives, in simple homes, with simple furnishings. I enjoy collecting the stoneware crocks and bowls that served utilitarian purposes in good home cooking and storage. The textures, shapes and colors make me think…who made this? Where did they live? How many people have used this in their daily lives? I also am inspire by the simplicity of the past. It helps me to keep focused on what is truly important-God, Family, Friends…Love!!!!!
I enjoy the thrill of the hunt as I search for hidden treasures-I ‘m a dumpster diver, an avid rummager , a thrift store ‘regular’, and more ! I love to share with others my passion for the primitives… wood bowls, crocks, stoneware, fruit & vegetable crates, braided rugs…..and so much more; so…..
